1. Governance & Bylaws
Your relationship with NABS is governed by these Terms and the North America Bhanushali Samaj Constitution and Bylaws. In the event of a conflict between these digital terms and the formal NABS Constitution, the Constitution and Bylaws shall take precedence.
2. Membership & Accounts
- Eligibility: Membership is subject to the criteria defined in the NABS Constitution. We reserve the right to review or revoke membership if conduct is found to be in violation of our community standards.
- Accuracy: You agree to provide truthful information. NABS is not responsible for errors caused by inaccurate data entry.
3. Donations, Fees, and Givebutter
- Third-Party Processing: NABS uses Givebutter for all financial transactions. By submitting a payment, you agree to Givebutter’s terms of service and acknowledge their role as our secure payment processor.
- Processing Fees: Givebutter may offer the option to “cover the tip” or “cover the processing fee.” These contributions go toward the cost of the platform and transaction security and are handled directly by the processor.
- Refunds: Contributions and membership dues are generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified by the NABS Board for specific event cancellations.
4. Community Conduct
You agree to use NABS digital resources (including directories and member portals) solely for community-building and organizational purposes. The use of NABS member data for external commercial solicitation, spam, or unauthorized marketing is strictly prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
NABS provides this website and its services “as-is.” While we strive for 100% uptime and security, we are not liable for any technical failures of third-party platforms (like Givebutter) or for damages resulting from the use of our digital tools.
